Press reports on Thursday dealt with an unexpected decision from the Competitions Department of the Saudi Professional League Association, as the date of the Super Cup tournament for the 2024-2025 season was revealed.
According to what was published in the Saudi newspaper "Al Jazeera", the Competitions Department has decided to organize the domestic Super Cup tournament before the start of the new season, and this tournament is scheduled to be held from August 14 to 17, according to the proposed season schedule.
It is expected that the Super Cup matches will take place between four big clubs in Saudi Arabia, where Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Wahda clubs will compete for the prestigious title.
It is planned that the union match with Al-Wahda will take place, while Al-Hilal will meet with Al-Nasr on the eighth of next April.
On the other hand, the Saudi Professional League returns to work tomorrow, Friday, after the end of the international break for the current month of March, with the return of exciting competitions and decisive matches.
